Rene Sandberg

In 1988 Rene started painting with watercolours in local Fulham and Putney classes. Previously, she had pursued a career in advertising as a layout artist.

For the past 10 years she attended classes at Heatherley School of Art, tutored by the Principal Veronica Ricks. Veronica taught Rene how to enjoy light, colour and combining mixed media. Rene’s great passion is painting landscapes, seascapes and local scenes. She recently ventured into exploring more abstract subjects.

Rene exhibits at the Hurlingham Club, SOFAP and Chelsea Arts Society, where she won a prize for the best watercolour painting.
